About Us

Alpha Phi Omega is a national, co-ed, service fraternity. For over 75 years, we have set the standard for college campus-based volunteerism. Alpha Phi Omega strives to help each member develop leadership skills, secure lasting friendships and provide service to others. Alpha Alpha Xi is the University of the Pacific's chapter of Alpha Phi Omega.

Donations (Nation)

- Description: Donate gently used/new clothing, packaged food, or toys to the the community. All donations will be brought to the Salvation Army. You can drop off your donations to the current VPS or turn in your donations and show the VPS the receipt.
- Note: Only up to 3 hours can count towards your 20 hours goal
Donate Blood (Nation)

- Description: Help save and improve lives by donating blood. Get documentation of your donation from the blood center to show to the VPS to confirm hours. Certain health/weight restrictions apply.
Recycling (Fraternity)

- Description: Set up a trip to the recycling plant with brothers and pledges! Brothers who set up a group to recycle get a chair and can give the money received back to their fundraising goal. If you do recycle, please bring a few recyclables and be prepared to sort through them.

Stockton Food Bank (Community)

- Description: Won the champion ship the first time but can't wait for more? Here's your chance! Prove AAXi is the best chapter in our section?!?! Help us make spirit items to give out to show that we are the Champions! ROUND 1: You will be cutting out boxing gloves or something related to boxing for sectionals. ROUND 2: You wll be adding string or pins so people can proudly display our chapter's great creations among themselves! So you better have an eye of a tiger to make sure these items are as precise as possible! So let's get ready to rumble for a great way to help the fratenity! (Okay that's enough puns)

Save Science Camp Casino Night Dinner (Community)

- Description: Help the children of Brookside Elementary get funding for Science Camp! Through setting up, decorating, serving, checking in, dealing, babysitting or cleaning up, help children go on an amazing experience that wil lgreatly benefit them in the future! Our advisor, Kim Yee, has helped prepare this event and would greatly appreciate our help. So let's show how much we love our advisor by bringing as many volunteers as we can! =D
- 10 am - 5 pm: Set Up and Decorate: Unloading of sodas, silent auction stuff, setting up tables/chairs, table cloths, etc.

- 5 pm - 7:30 pm: Check In/Registration: Check name on list, provide wrist band, water bottle, gaming ticket

- 6 pm - 8pm: Waiter/Waitress service to 7-10 VIP tables (serve and clear food, drinks, etc.)

- 6:30 pm - 10 pm: Blackjack dealers (deal blackjack--should be familiar with the game)

- 4:30 pm - 10 pm: Babysitting (for Save Sci Camp Casino Committee/Opportunity Sales Kids, approx 10-15 kids)

Saturday P.I.E. (Community/Campus)

- Location: Center for Community Involvement
- Description: There's no pie. =( Saturday P.I.E. stands for Saturday Partners in Education. This event pairs students up with your children (Ages 5-13) for a fun filled day around campus. The day usually starts off with a few fun games in front of Burns Tower as children arrive. You are then paired with your child then go to a fun activity usually hosted by on campus organization. Afterwards you head off to lunch to eat and interact with your child. Next you can play a bunch of fun games at Baun with the kids. Lastly you play crafts with them until their parents return. This is a great way to get kids interested in college and thinking about their future. So sign up to be a role model!
Miracle Mile (Nation)

- Description: Feel too out of shape for Relay For Life? NO PROBLEM! Prepare by participating in Tri Delta's Miracle Mile. The Miracle Mile is a 5k Walk/Run with all benefits going to St Jude's Children Research Hospital. Registration will begin at 10 AM with registration being $10/person and $7/person with a team of 6 or more. So try and make a team. If you register early, you get a FREE t-shirt.

Earth Day (Community/Campus)

- Location: UC Lawn
- Description: Help out with the Earth Day Festival this year on campus! This festival will include booths and activities all relating to helping save our environment. It's going to be a huge event open to the community, and we want to show that we care about Mother Earth! As volunteers, you will either set up, clean up, or help with the booths and activities throughout the day (or maybe all 3!).
Breakthrough Dance Competition (Community)

- Description: Support the Breakthrough Dance competition. by helping out at coat check and security during the day, you can get a free ticket to the show later that night. Performers include Rhythm Inc., SickStep, VIP San Jose, XPosed, and more!
- Note: Maximum of 2 people per shift.
Asparagus Festival (Community)

- Description: ASPARAGUS CAN BE FUN! Stockton's 25th Annual Asparagus Festival will be this year! Help by cooking asparagus, monitoring location and cleaning up at the festival receive free entry to one of Stockton's biggest events! Water will be provided. Dress for warm weather!
